Venue: The American University of Armenia
Location: Yerevan, Armenia
Date: July 15 – 19, 2013. The conference focuses on the theory and applications of simulation methods for fluid mechanics that, in contrast to traditional Computational Fluid Dynamics methods, are derived from a microscopic model. These methods continue to increase in popularity because of the simplicity of the algorithms and their suitability for high performance parallel computations.
Methods: Lattice Boltzmann, Stochastic Rotation Dynamics, Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, Lattice Gas, Molecular Dynamics and others.
Applications: Phase separation, turbulence, particulate flow, colloid hydrodynamics, hemodynamics (blood flow), flow in porous media (oil recovery), boiling, polymer solutions, swimmers, fluctuating hydrodynamics, and more.
Important dates:
Abstract submission: Extended until April 14
Acceptance of Abstracts: Extended until April 21
Online Registration: January 11, 2013 onwards
Deadline for accommodation: July 10, 2013
