Payment for Visas

Payment for visas shall be made exclusively in RA Drams as follows:

Visitor, single entry visa, up to 120 days of stay—AMD 15 000

Visitor, single entry visa, up to 21 days of stay–AMD 3000

Transit, single entry visa–AMD 10 000
Children under 18 for all types of visas—free of charge
 

Twenty-four-hour service provision, including the services rendered by Visa Issuance and Registration Area, is carried out in “Zvartnots” International Airport and You may obtain visas at any time upon arrival at the airport. You should fill in the application form for visas just on the spot.

Alternatively, you can obtain an e-Visa through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. An e-Visa is equivalent to a conventional visa, but no paper is inserted in your passport and there is no need for you to contact an Armenian diplomatic mission to submit an application. Applications for e-Visas can be submitted online, verified on line.  E-visas will be approved and issued to you via email within two business days. (Note: Typically short-term university visitors apply for a 21-day e-visa under category 7 or regular tourist category 1 without any problems.)  A 21-day visa costs $8 on line. Please apply for your e-Visa at least three days prior to your departure (http://www.mfa.am/eVisa).

Please note that EU citizens no longer need visas, as of 10th January 2013.
